One the best novels. If the Mc wasn't so solitary and if it had more well developed secondary characters, this could be a master piece. Wish it could be more like Log Horizon, the Anime.

The romanticism portrayed in the novel is top-notch 😂😂😂

I have read around a third of the novel. It’s a decent read if you turn off your brain regarding anything related to the game. The whole concept of the game is bullshit. There is a huge info dump in the beginning on how much money a player needs to spend to play the game and how difficult it is to earn the game, and all sorts of ridiculous restrictions. The game design is also stupid where high level players can easily bully low level players and can kill them whenever they want. Under these conditions I don’t know why anyone would play the game. If anyone does it should be a small minority. It’s too jarring to accept.

The MC’s character is passable. Unlike a majority of mc”s from these sorts of novels he is not really annoying and doesn’t do too many negative iq things. But he acts like someone who has mental problems. Even though he earns millions he doesn’t even spend a thousand on his basic needs and spends all the money for his game. This is despite the fact that the very same thing destroyed his life previously. He should have other investments and not completely rely on the game. He could at least buy stocks of the game. But he acts like a gambling addict who always goes all in. This isn’t too big of a deal but again feels too jarring and it makes it difficult to like the mc.

Fantastic writing. I would rate this five stars anyday. Loved it from the beginning to the end! Just simply wonderful. Absolutely didn't want it to end.

Okay, I'll say this
I wasn't actually expecting a really intresting novel, considering the amnt of chapters written here (though won't say the tags were really tempting, I mean it's hard to find this certain assortment of tags together)

Though it was srsly goddamn interesting to read, though the last chapter ended too soon .it felt a bit rushed, could have prolonged a bit more, especially the key for the storm king part , it could have been more content instead of simply saying the storm king had been sealed

Other than that a really good job on the novel overall, there aren't too many items to confuse the readers, wording and Grammer is okay, ended in a light hearted tone and more importantly
Character development wasn't messed up
Expecting a sequel if possible

This was the first novel I ever finished reading the one that started it all. If you enjoyed this you will definitely like Rebirth of the thief who roamed the world, the legendary mechanic, Dungeon predator and probably The world online. These are all vrmmorpg or something similar to it where the mc has clear set goals and isn't overly distracted by romance and loses IQ over women.

An amazing novel, no amazing should be an understatement...D-Dart novels are always top tier and this once again prove it!

Throughout the novel, MC focus on revenge but you know what, there is character development, not just socially, physically, mentally but also more importantly MORALLY, his personality went through change, there are soliloquy that explained his mental state and where he stand at.

At first he did everything for revenge, but as a person reached higher positioned and see more, he was able to change his narrow point of view and brought down his inflated pride. HE GREW, and author did such an amazing job to slowly but surely take the pressure and hatred of MC due to trying to get revenge to a better goal, and that is the completion and gaining a peaceful mind.

The end make total sense, it is a very fitting ending, MC was able to put the hatred behind and start a new, he was able to achieve the peace that he always looking for. Seriously, the ending reminded me of the ending between the Reaper and his lover (the queen) in Goblin K-drama AKA Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, if you haven't watch it, you NEED TO. Anyway a very f#cking awesome ending!
