Одна из лучших книг, которые я прочитал. Много интересных персонажей. Всегда нравились произведения про Виртуальную реальность. Есть очки здоровья, но спустя какое-то время игроки перестают играть удар взамен удара врага. Начинает настоящий экшен! Появляются движения уклонения! Сам игрок уже должен уклоняться от атак, а не включать какие-то игровые навыки. Это очень круто. Много крови. Хоть это и в игре, но есть кровь и даже эффекты наличия настоящей боли.
Всем советую это произведение!

This was my first novel. At the time I can't say how incredible it was, nowadays I would read it more for nostalgia, the amount of clichés, harem, plot armor etc is gigantic. In short, a classic Chinese cliché about someone going back in time with a second chance. As a work from 2010, I can't say it's cliché and repetitive, it's more of a classic.

If you like Chinese classics you can read it, it reminds me a lot of RSSG. Furthermore, he is the same author of Tales of Demons and Gods

TL:DR: If the amount of words here show anything is that you should not waste your time, doing literally anything else would be better. The story doesnt hold itself up, author isnt good at writing a fun and enjoyable experience, the things MC goes through are Nightmare Fuel in its truest form. At chapter 457 it would be easier for MC to kill his enemies in real life than to compete with them ingame, questing isnt fun, guild battles arent the tiniest bit fun, odds are always stacked against MC but author bails him out in some ridiculous way. Life threatening battle > Do impossible Quest to get loot and turn the tide > win against enemy by a hairs breadth > enemy gets help of 3 other enemies for no reason > repeat.

Having reached chapter 457 and not managing to endure this bullshit anymore, I would strongly advise against reading this.

Every element of the story is as shallow as it gets, things only happen because the author want it to happen and not because it makes the tiniest bit of sense. He is fighting up the entire novel without a moment to breathe, all of you must have read cultivation novels and know: Kill the Young Master and his Brother will come, kill the brother and their Father will come, kill the father and the Grandfather comes, after that we have the ancestor and It keeps going.. This novel is like that. He has clear enemies and objects of hatred, when he manages to win against one Guild fair and square they upped the numbers and MC was outnumbered, then later 2 other guilds got involved making it a total of 3, 2 of them were defeates to submission, then another guild appeared just to be defeated and after them being defeated another 3~4 guilds with hundreds of thousand of players joined again to defeat MC and his less than 100k guildmates.

The author is pathetic, he is always creating a life-threatening event just to force MC to do something WAAAAY beyond his limits, but would you look at that, the MC always completes it without much of a hitch.
HIS GUILD AND GUILDMATES ARE PATHETIC, its been 3 times already the MC was unable to help when conflict broke out and his guild lost without doing anything significant just so the MC can get more OP items in his quest and be a """""HERO""""".

Lets not even talk about how the MC is not that far ahead his enemies even when he has all advantages because the author wanted it that way. Every step forward the MC takes his enemies take the same amount making it ridiculous, the author is always praising the MC, saying how he went through a lot and got experience, how he has valuable information, AND YET HIS ENEMIES ALWAYS HALF A STEP BEHIND BECAUSE THEY ARE "PROFESSIONALS", BUT HIS GUILDMATES THAT ARE SUPPOSED TO BE THE BEST OF THE BEST EVEN NOW BEFORE DEVELOPING FULLY ARE LAGGING BEHIND BY A LOT.

Last but not least we have the romance. It is pathetic, it only isnt worse because the author is too preoccupied making shit plots in the VRMMO area, so he had no time to make the romance worse than it already was. The girl knew who he was ingame by chapter 100 and something and they were close, but she refused to tell him and is ANGRY because he doesnt give her attention ingame even though he doesnt know its her, she even says she will try to seduce him ingame and irl at the same, why? Idk the author is stupid af, btw it never happens because she doesnt tell him anything and he keeps distance from her ingame because he loves her irl and wont betray her. After all that it doesnt get brought up again until the MC literally ignores some hints and decides out of nowhere that he is done pretending and "discovers" her identity, THEY NEVER ACKNOWLEDGE IT they simply act like that wasnt a WHOLE FUCKING SUBPLOT.

Dont even get me started on how the author changes everything willy-nilly to his needs instead of creating actual plot. He changes cooldown times, penalties or whatever important info. The MC solve quests by killing his pet/summons by letting them aggro the monsters instead of relying in a fun or enjoyable way to finish a quest, not a single quest was interesting, all he does is kill, sneak around, aggro mobs away so he can progress AND MOB BOSS MONSTERS 60 LEVELS HIGHER THAN HIS OWN TO NPC TOWNS SO THE NPCS KILL IT. Theres nothing fun about this novel honestly.

I thought the book was good, it is pretty much a set of quadruplets. "Emperor of Solo Play" "Rebirth of the Thief Who Roamed the World" "Reincarnation of the Strongest Sword God" "The Great Thief"

They are so similar they have to be quadruplets. I liked them all.

I just finished the series! 4.5/5 stars!
Good writing style and flow. Main character is OP but likable. Side characters are great too.

Only annoying thing is that author changes the game rules to fit himself several times throughout the book.
quest has 6 months completion deadline, MC misses it, later on the deadline is suddenly three years so he made it in time. The rules say everyone loses 1 level, few chapters later that same rule has everyone lose 5 levels. etc. etc.

Just read the novel, then make your own judgement if you want to go past or drop this novel. Good luck and have fun

Kinda slow-paced specially at the start but the plot is not bad specially starting from the middle parts.

Ending is also good but

Reading this for while now, and I'm bored, are there no interesting quests in this book, it feels annoying just fighting players and misusing his second chance
