      I know there's a tag for "Ruthless Protagonist," but there should probably also be a tag for Evil Protagonist.

      Although the MC has moralistic goals, and thinks he's doing things for the greater good, he is sometimes prone to engage in truly evil acts to accomplish his goals. In fact, saying it happens "sometimes" isn't very honest: past a certain point in the novel, almost everything he does is evil to some degree.

      Fortunately, at least to the point I've read so far, he holds himself back from going full-blown megalomaniac. He's not trying to destroy the world. (
      ) His evilness is mostly pragmatic; although sometimes very, very cruel.

    The novel is really bad.
    It has its good sides.the idea, structure and interesting details are an upside.

    But all gets ruined by the protagonist. He is incredibly stupid. And that despite him being supposed to be smart and even during the Effekt of a drug that supposed to give him superintelligence
    And even worse is that most plot developments result out of either mc making dumb decisions that only work cause of plot armour or author can't find a reason for something to happen so it just happens cause mc is dumb (again while he is supposed to be superintelligent).
    This completely ruins cohesion and consistency making what would outherwise be a decent novel into total garbage.

    What also doesn't help is authors deprecates attempt to keep it logical while contradicting himself. There is a lot of biology in here which I can't say weither it is random BS or actually real but the laws of phics don't add up.

    Oh and while I don't care about the nationalism the insane racism is really hard to ignore. There is this part where the author writes a Village in Afrika like they live in the stone age don't know of the world and are generally stupid and lazy.
    This alone makes the entire novel really hard to read as that is difficult to ignore. I can't understand wtf is wrong with the author.

    Ignore some of my ignorant comments from a time ago, this story is a very fun twist on the genre, with some very new and different scenarios. MC is rather calm and ice-cold in his approach later on but not a bad thing. The USB is f#cking awesome, super unique in its power, I've never read anything like it. Now, there are some parts of the story where it may seem somewhat nationalistic or MC may make bad decisions but still worth a read. I've certainly changed my preference for MC's since a few years ago. Sick of goody MC's, I love slaughter now. satisfied
