Skyfire Avenue天火大道

Initially, I didn't want to read this novel. The tag: "Rape victim becomes lover" made me incredibly uncomfortable. I decided to dare it though and I'm glad I did. Even that rape tag was explained to be a very unusual situation and not the impression it gave us at all. Upon reading the novel, it became very clear why it happened and you can't help pitying both characters (PS: I am not supporting it just so you know.)

As I've already said, this was a surprisingly good novel. I've read lots of novels and most of the time, I'm able to make predictions on what certain characters might do based on common tropes. This novel upended most of my predictions. The characters I considered to be villains showed surprising sacrifice and won admiration. The author did a fantastic job while writing them.

The story is like a mix of mecha, space travel and cultivation. The fights were well done and the power system was interesting. The translation was also well-done if you ignore the occasional "he-she" mix-up, and mistaking names in conversations.

The one thing I still don't get tho is why the girl on the cover is blond when FL has black hair and blue eyes lol

all characters are well developed. no arrogant young masters. Everyone reacts and acts as a logically and emotionally normal human would behave. every character is very detailed. there is romance. and yeh this author has a strange obsession with a love triangle(not sure what it is called when 2 person loves same person faithfully) and some betrayal plots.. but those are short and doesn't keep u hanging by cliff for long.... u can take them akin plot twists. this is a well developed and written story. 5/5 ratings from me
