Chapter 340: Arrivals. |
You Xi Wang commanded and the ship entered the rock belt. The pilot crew moved the ship according to his instructions. Fenny asked, "Your tunnel will stay clear for how long?"
You Xi Wang shook his head and said, "I cast binding array around the open space, but this thing is very fast, the faster it the greater impact, so I am not aware how long. Make the ship advance at full speed."
Fenny nodded and said, "Good."

Outside on the surface, Aaron and Jackob were gazing at the starboard side of the ship. That was where they were afraid of a stay meteor to come and intercept them. They were fully aware of the impact a collision can cause them. The two people were on full alert.
As soon as the ship completely entered the meteor belt, You Xi Wang mobilized his spirit sense. He was not completely recovered so he decided to help the people differently. He was sitting in the captain's chair.
He said, "Focus the spirit energy of the array's shields on the backside of the starboard, the engine must be protected. The rest will be looked after by Phantoms and the war gods."
You Zhichi was the highest level array grandmaster on her ship she relayed the commands and none of the people objected. The arrays had a network of spirit energy that could be manipulated by the array master.
This network, if congested in one point of the array could safeguard things better but it will be limited to that spot only. At this moment the engine of the ship was what they needed to safeguard most. You Xi Wang said, "Phantoms alert, you guys have lost the protection of the array boundaries. You may have to do things on your own. Can we count on you?"
This team was his number of people, Neo and the rest of the phantoms. He smiled and said, "If any one of you died, then I will find a way to revive you and then kill you myself. You better not let me have that chance. You know that I do not simply just kill people."
His voice carried a cold threat that made the phantoms on the surface of the ship shiver. Yuki said in a cold voice, "Incoming."
The people mobilized their spirit sense and found a meteor flying towards them at a high speed. Neo stepped forward, raised his halberd overhead as he held the end of the shaft. He spoke, "Aries guillotine."
With that said the Halberd was dropped and a slash emitted from his blade. The people only saw a bright light flicker and the meteor was suddenly slashed into two and then slowly it crumbled away. By the time it reached the ship, the meteor was nothing more than a cloud of cosmic dust.
The people were surprised to see such a shocking display of strength. They had accepted things to be like this but still, they were unable to digest the fact that this guy could be so capable. The whole phantom team was underestimated a lot because of You Xi Wang overshadowing them.
Fenny was also on the surface with them and said, "This one is mine."
She had taken out her sniper rifle long ago. She aimed, with a deep breath she squeezed the trigger. There was no sound or recoil. However, the next thing was not expected by anybody. A ray of light shot at the meteor, as soon as it hit the meteor, the whole rock as big as twenty meters in diameter was covered in a white glow and the next moment it reduced to dust.
The two War Gods had their mouths wide open. Fenny could see their expressions, and said, "We have yet to master the fifth weapon that was why no War God title. Won't take much to catch up with you guys."
Aaron almost had an urge to puke a mouthful of blood. These guys were ahead of him in cultivation and this girl dared to say they will catch up to him. The ship crossed the rock belt in twenty seconds but they had never been so stressed. In the past twenty seconds, they have dealt with a lot of meteors, and the people were all covered with cold sweat.
You Xi Wang was standing inside the bridge and asked, "ETA to the target planet?"
The pilot crew member replied, "Two hours."
The young man nodded and said, "Get inside and rest up. We have to meet the ancestors."
The people from the surface outside all got inside and You Xi Wang handed the command of the ship back to the captain. He got back to his room as he was still replenishing his reserves. The system said, "That was a close shave, to think that these meteors can divert from the pack."
You Xi Wang said, "It was close but within expectations. They collide and vary in mass. That is it was all expected. We still got off with no casualties. The meteors I imagined could have made our ship vanish in one impact."
The system did not reply after all the belt was filled with millions of rocks. The people got inside and began to replenish themselves. You Xi Wang had consumed spirit pills, a dozen at a time. His body had a bigger tank than others and thus he needed to eat more as well.
After a couple of hours, Maya came out of his shadow and said, "They are looking for you."
You Xi Wang opened his eyes and said, "Very well."
He stood up and after putting on his suit he left for the room. On the way, he met a lot of people who greeted him. Even though he did not know them he was known to everyone. He came to the bridge almost in time to see the ship get past the atmosphere and soon he spotted a docking bay. Covered in dust.
He said, "You Tong, take your team and clean this thing up."
He was afraid of something malfunctioning so he sent a team ahead. You Tong was his cousin, but here his identity was that of the family leader. You Tong did not mind and with a smile replied "Yes, commander. And the team was dispatched."
You Zhichi said, "Why did you send them ahead?" using telepathy.
She could tell from his face that things were not simple. You Xi Wang replied, "Nothing big but they need to clean up some beasts for us to be able to land. I have briefed sister Tong about this. Do not worry."
You Zhichi nodded and said, "If you say so."

Outside the ship, You Tong and the four of her teammates landed on the ground, with their weapons ready. A boy asked, "Why did Xiao Wang send us ahead?"
You Tong replied, "There is a group of beasts around here. He is testing us. Did you think, he wanted his family members to swipe dust here? If you guys doubted him one more time, I will kill you in the name of family rules."
You Family never doubted Family masters. That said, You Tong took out her sword and they began to scan the landscape. They had used an escape pod from the ship to come down here first. As You Xi Wang told her in his debriefing, she found a pack of monsters here. It was a wolf colony.
She said, "Tame these pups. They will help get around this place." The four people nodded and they moved forward.
They all had their spirit wolves so these they found were easy to deal with. Within five minutes, You Tong had tamed the wolves, and the alpha had surrendered after they were crushed with the spiritual power.
The ship docked at the port and You Xi Wang led the people out. The captain of the ship said, "Sir, this port is used only when we are visiting here. Now you all have to go inside the tower, there is a stele, you drop your blood on that stele and you will be able to sense the residing place of your ancestors. Only when you can find them will your trial begin."
You Xi Wang nodded and turned to the people. He said, "You all heard the captain. I suggest that we all send a family master from the group to drop the blood on the stele. Also, We are all from Metropia, we share the same home. So, if we have any troubles and disputes, try not to jump the gun and solve it nicely."
His words were not for everyone's welfare but a threat that if anyone tried to mess up with his family, he will locate them and tear them apart piece by piece. The people agreed and then every family sent out their masters to the tower in the distance.
