At the other side of the town.
The Leader, Adam and the other members of both factions carefully go out of the building they were hiding yesterday night.
As they were afraid of the Elders finding them, they did not dare try their luck to go outside, especially when they weren't in the best condition to fight.
The Elder' strengths were also boosted during the night, so the best course of action for them was really just to wait for morning to come.
Fortunately, nothing unusual happened as they alternatively guard each other on an hourly basis.
However, even though it was already morning, they still did not dare to act carelessly as even though Hybrids seldomly appear during the night, there were still occasions where they are seen during the day.
Aside from the Hybrids, they also need to watch out for zombies. Unlike the villages and hamlets, a town's zombie count was astronomical. This also means that more zombies have become stronger and level up, as they have plenty of Apocalypse Virus to feast on.

One of the factionless level two humans said as he surveyed the road ahead of them. He then went and walked ahead of the others along with the other factionless level two guy.
If only they have extra Apocalypse Virus, they might be able to heal even if only a little.
Unfortunately, no one has them at the moment, including the Blue Wave Faction members and the two factionless humans who joined them yesterday.
Their primary goal at the moment was to go as far as possible from the center of the town where the base of the hybrids were located.
The Pink Surge Faction base was the nearest safest place they could find so they all decided to go there. Even the Blue Wave Faction members also decided to go after some careful deliberation.
Dotina also assured them that nothing will happen. She personally knew the Leader before the Apocalypse. Although the attitude and the way the Leader treated the others changed, she still believed in her previous student.
It was risky for them but as they were Level Two humans, they could still escape cleanly if anything goes awry. Especially when they have Adam the Magician on their side.
Even though the Pink Surge Faction base was the nearest, they would still need approximately two hours of walking to arrive there. They still need to be careful during these two hours as anything could happen at any given moment.
However, they were all Level Two humans so the tension was not that great compared to the one they felt yesterday night when the Elders were pursuing them.

Meanwhile, Dario, Mario, Dexter, and Emon were now back at the Blue Wave Faction base. When they were escaping yesterday, they made sure to return to the base as soon as possible. Dexter and Emon have been wounded considerably and they need to take care of the wounds as soon as possible.
When they arrived at the base, they immediately noticed the deserted atmosphere that surrounded the area. They thought that the other members might have hidden away or they might have gone out to search for zombies to kill.
They also realized that the other high ranking members were still not back. However, they did not find anything odd, as they already expected it. Their plan was to survey and search for the Beheader and then return the next day if they did not find anything worthy.
The four of them expected for the others to return soon. They wanted to report what happened immediately so that they could plan their revenge.
Contrary to the silent guy attitude that he usually shows, Emon was actually the one who was adamant on enacting revenge right now. Even though he was still wounded, he kept on pestering and bothering the twin to go and call the others so that they could plan their revenge early while the opposite faction still had their guard down.
"That's enough, Emon-kun! I won't urge them to come back, and we will wait for the others to arrive instead. Just calm and heal yourself!" Mario said with an angry tone.
He thought that Emon was being blinded by rage right now, and all he was thinking was revenge. He did not even consider the fact that he was wounded by the fight yesterday, and as well as the fact that the opposite faction might also be thinking the same. He was worried for the guy so he could only pat Emon's shoulder as he told him to calm down.
Hearing that, Emon could only turn around with a bitter expression as he clicked his tongue clearly annoyed.
'Just wait!' Emon resentfully thought.

On the other hand, Damian, Burge and Burnok still haven't arrived at the Pink Surge Base. However, Burnok estimated that they might be able to arrive there in an hour if nothing unusual happened.
As Damian was wounded heavily yesterday, they could only decide to search for a place to stay for the night, instead of forcefully trying to return to the base.
Damian had already woken up earlier, however, he was still not in the condition to walk or even fight so Burge could only give his friend a piggyback as they carefully walked towards their destination, the Pink Surge Faction base.
Damian was quite embarrassed by the treatment as he did not expect that he would one day become a burden to his friend. He could only lower his head as he tried his best not to cry from the treatment he got from his bro.
He promised to himself that no matter what happens, he'll always be on Burge's side.
"I love you, bro!" Damian said in a low voice, but as a Level Two human, Burge was able to hear it clearly.
"Eww! That's so gay! You want me to drop you to the ground right now?"
