It’s funny how the translators for this named themselves after a mistranslation. Sky demon order should definitely be heavenly demon order or heavenly demonic cult.

Every novel by this author feels like they are set in the same universe. There are hundreds of years between them, but I think they take place in the same universe.
Anyway, the novel is very good Nano Machine 8/10, this novel is 7/10. Because it's a little confusing. There are so many powerful people that it is confusing to remember their names. And since the last names are similar, it gets even harder. The series looks like 99% harem novels so far. I'm not against it because I really liked all the female characters (especially the redhead, perfect)

The transition is entering into the dogshit territory at this point.
It's getting harder and harder to know what happening in the novel. And i feel it's getting more rushed as it goes on.

He isn't dense per say, more like he's scared of trusting people and the women that likes him are either psychopaths or stupidly strong.

The writing(or translation) is so bad I can barely understand who’s talking.

    The names are incredibly confusing.

Reading Korean terms in English is also strange, just say big brother or smth not the random 20 different ways to say sir in Korean.

Almost every act the mc does is useless and based on emotion. He is not smart, nor does he have experience and he doesn’t act like a 8 year spy should. He could easily solve all his problems by running away from his stupid sect then go around collecting swords and after a few years he’d be op.

I don't think the MC is stupid. I'm in the last few chapters and after he gained more strength and freedom, his intelligence as a spy had more opportunities to appear.

As for the Korean terms... This novel actually has many Korean terms of the time, in excess, even I who am experienced in novels, including the author's (Nanomachine; Descent of the Demon God) get confused. I tried to read the MTL and found it impossible for this reason.

the author is also inconsistent in using first person POV and third person POV. the way the story is so bad, I can't believe that he is the one who wrote Nano Machine.

Korean Murim stories give a nice change of pace to Chinese Cultivation novels.

Well translated, interesting storyline - none of the default chinese tropes, but we see the standard korean tropes instead.

    4/5
