Long Live Summons!召唤万岁

Mc's character really spoils this novel. Though the novel itself is not very good even without the mc.

The fights between beasts feel extremely dumb. Their abilities simplistic there is no mix and matching, no strategies. The beasts usually fight using brute force. There is also the whole "no matter how strong a beast is there is always a nemesis" concept which happens due to no reason. Although there are countless beasts and that people are restricted in the number of beasts they can summon we see enemies pulling out beasts which exactly counter mc's and his companion's beasts. It feels too forced.

I won't talk directly about the mc. Let me just describe the first real fight the mc was in.
1. Mc and his companion thief confront the theifs enemy.
2. Mc says he will beat the enemy up but acts as if he doesn't even know what summoned beasts are. So he is not allowed to fight.
3. Thief fights with the enemy and almost wins.
4. Enemy is like "help me" and enemies companion comes and summons exact counters to thiefs summons.
5. Enemy summons a super beast which can kill someone just be looking.
6. He along with his companion beats up thief and his companion gravely injuring him.
7. All this while mc was looking at thiefs ass and drooling.
8. Mc doesn't act even when thiefs beasts are killed.
9. He says that he doesn't wish to reveal his abilities.
10. He then instead of acting quickly and killing the enemies proclaims that he is a genius and goes directly to the beast which can kill by looking.
11. This is despite him not having a properly tested solution to it. He survives due to plot armour.
12. He used some op skill to beat the beast. With his strength he should be able to kill people in a blink of an eye. But he still doesn't kill the enemies and talks non sense.
13. Enemies companion sees that things are not good for him and kills himself while summoning a ridiculously op beast. Its stupid how a cannon fodder can summon the last boss.
13. Here mc gives a stupid reason that he needs to check his level of strength. That's why he allows his enemies to use their Trump cards without interfering. This is in direct contrast to him now willing to reveal his abilities.
14. He gets rekt by the summoned beast. He reveals all his abilities. Survives again due to plot armour. Walks away as if nothing has happened. He doesn't even think for a second that his stupidity has almost killed him and his family.

rubbish. decent writing, horrible plot, horrible cultivation system. :/ very incoherent, MC is annoying.
