Summoning the Holy Sword召唤圣剑

The story starts pretty well. And is quite enjoyable for the first maybe 200 chapters. Later there temp becomes slower and slower. So far have seen only 1 NSFW scene + 1 erotic one in 360+ chapters that I've read. In my opinion, it would've been nice for someone to make a list of all those NSFW chapters as there's no indication in chapters' titles.

I somewhat disliked the mysterious world relationship to MC. Based on some prophecy. But everything is vague for that long. While the story also progresses slowly and there feels quite some excessive info everywhere else.
And all harem members so far have some mysterious background. Too much mystery for me! Becomes boring.
And MC also tries to behave mysteriously with his cold mask on and "girlish looks". Sometimes his reactions feel excessively strange. And his motivations are still strange. I mean, there's a prophecy maybe about him, but he just doesn't care, even though he was brought into this world and one his summons . He just promotes his guild and sometimes removes some threats from the game story.

Dropped it after 50 chapters, MC went from weak to prick too fast and without reason, and I don't like this type of novels.

I came back to tell you all not to look at the fandom before like chapter 1,000 because it shows his race that is hidden in the beginning of the novel. I pretty much got spoiled in the beginning, and on top of that the fandom isn’t really completely correct, like for example it says there r 15 extra girls who are his lovers when they aren’t. So just beware of that and if u don’t mind being spoiled from the beginning go ahead

I used to think l this novel was amazing, and it kind of is but the way the author is constantly talking about how mc looks like a sissy is getting on my nerves.

And the author keeps talking about how MC shows a "gentle and beautiful smile" which constantly gives me faggot vibes.

This read could've been amazing if only the author didn't make MC out to be a sissy faggot.

And another thing is that EVERY SINGLE woman in the harem is a virgin. Is MC so insecure that he can't handle the knowledge that one of his women has prior sexual experiences or something?

The story itself is generic but at first the whole building his guild and territory with his knowledge kept me interested, yet it got stale even though the fights were enjoyable.



Sometimes the writing itself is frustrating to read, the author's repetitive expositions every few chapters and pov monologues of side characters grovelling over the MC.

To be honest let’s say there’s 100+ different characters in this novel hypothetically. Then maybe less than five would male and the rest would be female. On top of that out of those few males, some would be villains, background characters that are barely talked about, and the mc. I’m not even joking, most strong people or people with slightly important positions are females and are meant to be a part of the mc’s harem; it’s even stated that the different races are female dominated where the females are the strong ones in power and the males are wimps. I don’t know if the author doesn’t know how to make male characters or if he just wants every character a possible harem member, but it’s hard to not be annoyed by it. I don’t mind big harems or strong females but this is too much. Because there’s such a big harem a lot of girls are forgotten and sometimes pop up out of nowhere as if they were in the group the whole time. ON TOP of that, it’s stated that the mc looks like a BEAUTIFUL female over and over again to the point where . I don’t know what to feel about this because I can’t imagine and don’t want to imagine how the mc looks because of this. Well this is just a little rant from me and I could go on but the story was good enough for me to read on but there were obviously plot holes and a rushed ending, so if you have nothing to read you can go for this. Also while the author tries to downplay it, all readers know he’s a lolicon so I’m letting you know now

Big harem

This novel is truly a masterpiece the first half. The second half gets too repetitive and boring,

Truly a nice, funny, and interesting novel. Unfortunately, there are some very annoying traits on it.
Deadly repetition of things or unnecessary explanation (quite a few chapters got wasted). But after you get used, is just skip them until the author remembers about the 'present'.
A rushed ending.
Seriously, if you are to cut the novel at a certain point, you get a dawn nice novel, but the last fourth became VERY boring and rushed.
