So it's another Dao novel and i assume that magi and magus is chinese mythology magus and not Western mage?

Is this another cultivation disguised as magic novel?

It has been a while since a read it, maybe 2 or 4 years dunno, but some asked for a review so I'll try. If you want a detailed cultivation journey then run away, there comes a point in the story (900~) that all we get is the telling that someone helped the mc comprehend the dao, and he's stronger, realms was once described but quickly forgotten. Regarding the side characters/heroines it's consistent with blood red's other novels, everyone has a very distinct personality, on the level that by reading a speech, by the peculiarities we can identify who's speaking, and not semantics or something to tells us who.
The plot is well developed, with the exception of the ending, even if it is in the "great desolate continent" (three pure ones, those greedy buddhas, heavenly court, etc) Blood Red as always twist some things and inserts plot making it interesting even if you've read other novels with "great desolate" ambiance . As for the ending it was abrupt, in the sense that it completely skips the final fight just as it climaxes, with the next chapter being the final one years later, like WTF WAS ALL THAT BUILD UP FOR IF YOURE GONNA END IT LIKE THIS.

Rating:
Story development: 3,5* (it would be 5* if not for that shitty ending)

Writing Quality: English is my second language, I am not that familiar with it's grammatics, but i read without a problem if I remember correctly. ( I'm saying this cause there is a lot of comments on novels describing the shitty grammatics but I didn't saw them, mostly on originals that I see them tho (the comments))

World Background: 4* (even if the great desolate ambiance was twisted and such, it's pretty lazy to choose it, but it's incredibly detailed the only place not explored was one continent and the stars)

Character Design: 5* (All character has a peculiar personality, if you didn't read Blood Red is other works then it would be truly refreshing, I don't remember if there's no Young Master, but there's definitely some hateful ones here to be the villain (gritting teeth level))
