    I misread the title as "Clueless Ascension" and thought it was going to be a comedy. Then I read the real title and found out it was another generic tower story. How disappointing.

      Don't call this "another generic tower story" and "disappointing" when you didn't read this masterpiece. The characters feel alive, the world building is amazing, the plot isn't the most original but it's still fresh and interesting and it's becoming more and more interesting the more you read and not to forget the absolute f*cking masterpiece that is the main character of this novel. And yeah too bad for you but it also is a "clueless ascension" since the main character doesn't know shit about how to advance and just makes up shit on the spot and improvises, adapts and overcomes. It's pure comedy gold. Read it.

        I won't down vote you because I can respect that kind of passion. Now. Tower stories never end. They're pointless ceaseless climbing, and always have the dumbest rules/restrictions. Maybe this one's different. But I've been burnt by every single tower story I ever read. I'm not taking the chance. Have a good one.

          This one has a definite end goal, and the whole point of the mc is he just ignores or circumvents all rules and restrictions. Just read 5 chapters. Just 5. It'll only cost you 30 minutes of your life at worst, but it might give you a good novel that you'll enjoy.

        Bro after 160 chapters the characters all feel like empty pieces of paper, and the world building is "yo so there are tower like. and the towers have floors, that have rewards corresponding to difficulty!" I don't know what you're smoking but I want some if it can make this garbage enjoyable. To call the idea that an MC of average intelligence is the ONLY PERSON IN THE ENTIRE WORLD TO FIGURE OUT YOU GOTTA HIT THE VINE BUG IN THE HIDDEN GEM after guilds and the like would logically be pumping hundreds of millions of dollars into RnD figuring out clear strategies, weaknesses, and everything else.

    Why do people said it is funny @@ i hardly chuckle at all. Not sure what's so funny. Sometimes I even find it cringy.

    The book is alright, I wouldnt say it is super duper good like other revies.

    It started great but has slowed down too much after 150+ chapters. The focus on comedy gets bigger and the main plot moves slowly. It's good but I am taking break, will come back after some stockpile. nose

    Some crazy positive reviews up in here and the author seems like a chill dude... I guess I'll give it a try. I have covid after all so I got 10 days free lol


    Edit: Wow I finished this in less than 24 hours, what a sad life I live...

    Anyway it was a great read so far and the thing that stuck out most for me was the comedy: I genuinely chuckled at so many chapters and it never feels forced at all, 10/10 comedy wise. Maybe cause I read it so fast but I really have no complaints at all for this novel. The characters are also top tier imo.
    10/10, perhaps if I read it slower I would give it less, but j didnt so yeah

    This is REALLY FUCKING good, but chapter 130 - 170+, nothing happens except tons of foreshadowing. But before and after that is insane. just read the first 5 chapters to get the gist.

    Plot: 9/10
    characters: 10/10
    comedy: 420/10
    mc: Josh MOTHERFUCKING Malum/10
    overall rating: 69/10. Nice.
