    Personally after I realised the MC's potential fate as slave, I already had thoughts of abandoning this. But then I though: hey, maybe it's just the suspense that'll go throughout the whole story and MC will never become a slave. And so I hoped for a clever MC avoiding every danger out there... so I gave it a chance. But then it became boring and I stopped. And I now read in comments about him becoming a slave.

    This novel may not be LOTM, or Reverend Insanity level stuff, but it is better than 99% of all the novels currently out there, no exceptions.....Unless you like novels like little princess gets pampered by her 100 loving brothers.....in that case, I would still say Shadow Slave is better. 6 hokage

      You seriously, LOTM very bad. LOTM is boring shit. 1 arc was completely merged, there is no way to distinguish the ending from the beginning of the arc, there is no tension. Also, Klein is the same type as a minor character. Also an arc about Amon. At the end the author with There everything was done for MC Goddess of Eternal Night. And all the characters are kind of one-sided and don’t change. Almost everyone has no purpose of their own. While the main characters have at least some Target. For example, Effie, she used to be disabled, but after becoming a master she became like an ordinary person. The same Mordreth and Nef, they are more developed and lively than the characters of LOTM. LOTM only has An interesting world and I especially liked the meeting of the Tarot club, rather than the plot, which is just not there. In all other respects, the Slave eats.

    Honestly this was a great novel but I'm sadly dropping it.

    The world building is interesting.

    The story is compelling.

    The characters unique and fleshed out.

    But for the love of everything.. what happened to the main character?

    He start out as a deceiving, mistrusting manipulator, ready to do anything to survive his hopeless situation. But am I the only who feels like he has been turned into the comic relief? With everything he has experienced you think he was more mature, But no he is still a child that is easily provoked and the butt of every joke.

    I've read until chapter 1350 and I simply cant read any further as my hope for Sunny to grow the fuxk up is gone.

    For anyone who are reading the forgotten shore arc, Sunny's character dosen't change much after he goes insane in the city in my opinion.

    For those who don't mind Sunny's character, I hope you have an enjoyable time reading this novel.

      Felt the same right after forgotten shore ark.
      Like wtf boi, one mob??? You survived how long?? For what?? Not to find one meager shadow, to lose powerup???Not to off girl who fcked your life or simp on slaver??

      I was really disappointed, it started so good ((((
      Upd. Forgot to add, better try Chrysalis or book of the dead. Reeeealy eased my boredom.
