It's not important enough to be a spoiler, but I remember dropping this book in Ch. 2 because in the the inn lady is like bought off by 'bad guys' and the main character who discovers that the landlady picked the 'rich young masters side' decides to like punch the building before he leaves. In my opinion though, while the landlady was on the wrong side I don't really think that it is necessary to be such an ass though? While he doesn't need to be a coward I think it's annoying and upsetting if he is so domineering in such a way. Here me out, an inn lady accepts a bribe from someone to kick you out, that is upsetting, furthermore you have broken the mans face who came to take you room (harsh but cultivation world so whatever), but what's with the macho 'uuugh i punch wall to intimidate the mortal inn lady' and BESIDES the land lady tries to return his remaining rent and that is what triggers him because he determines ENTIRELY off the fact that the inn keeper decided to pay him back that she obviously is 'calculating'(?!???!?). I don't understand. It feels like him being unnecessarily dickish and everyone is evil cause I'm protagonist.

idk does it get better? obviously people like this book, but if the character is unsympathetic to anyone who barely slights him and inconsiderate I would be too peeved and annoyed to continue. Is it like this or was I upset for no reason last time I read this?

  I get what you mean but I think you are making the whole situation bigger than it is. He is one of the most likeable protagonists from the novels I have ever read so far. (and I read alot of them) In my opinion you just need to read a little more of it because I can say it from my heart that this novel is absolute gem end one of the bests in its category. There are some cliches I know like arrogant young masters and all but Im sure everyone who reads light novel is already used to it.
  
  You should give this novel another change because Im sure pretty much everyone who likes chinese novels would love this one too. I know that at the starts its kinda slow and uninteresting but after 15-20 chapters it gets better and better.

  Also, you skipped the detail that this happened because after the lady of the inn not only gives the MC's room to the person who wants to take the MC's room just to screw him, but also gets arrogant thinking that the MC is nothing compared to the person who wants to f#ck the MC and so he gets arrogant thinking that he can do whatever he wants since it's his inn and the MC is just a villager who can be bullied. So far so good since that is not the reason why the MC destroys the wall. The cause of that is that after the person who wants to annoy the MC starts insulting the MC and that's why the MC derives that person in one fell swoop and then the fat clown (the inn lady) makes a fuss saying that it is a murder but he is silenced by the look of the MC and when the MC was about to leave the latecomer starts to claim for the damages caused to the inn and that is why the MC "intimidates" the latecomer. It's normal for the MC to stiffen but the MC just smashes the wall instead of hitting it to shut its mouth. If it were me I would have already destroyed the mouth of the lady of the inn

  In my opinion lord xue ying is pretty good one there is only one main girl and she is alright not bad but not great either. This novel is one of my favorite novels and Im pretty picky on novels. I think that anyone who loves classic cultivation novels will greatly enjoy this one.
