    One of the most overrated novels out there.

    Its definetely very good, but i really think the most hype comes out of the coloured mangha, which by the way is amazing and i recommend to everyone to check it out even if you have read the LN .

    As for this novel, i rate it 4/5 .
    Its not as good as people tend out to make it .

    Character design?
    MC is the classic korean cool type of guy, nothing new here. You can find the same type of MC in a ton of korean novels. As for the other side characters, only a few have what i'd call a personality. Most are the same type of people really .

    Wolrd Background and Story Developement??
    Do i even have to say anything about this? A plot seen in a ton of novels with gates appearing out of nowhere and monsters residing in them . Plus the powers the 'adventurers' or hunters in this case have. Absolutely nothing new. There is a kind of unexpected plot at the end


    Romance?? Definetely underdeveloped. Very unsatisfactory and most of the romance we can only imagine it in our heads because there is no romance written in this novel despite the fact that MC gets married.

    If theres anything i'd say makes this novel appear to be above many similar to this, is the writing quality which is very cohhesive, and there is nothing forgotten in this novel, or any plot hole. But this is also mainly due to the fact that the world background and the story are very simple so its hard to forget things even if you want to.

    Anyway, this novel is definetely not legendary or a masterpiece as many would say .
    It is though one of the best of its kind with a OP - badass- cool type korean MC.

    What i'd say fits the description as legendary is the manwha of this novel though, because i havent ever seen a better, more badass drawn manwha out there, so definetely check it out .

      About the novel? It's the one from 2014, so this novel is ahead of its time. There weren't much of this system novel then, and now what you see is, most of the novel/manhwa are inspired from Solo Levelling and it's system. So don't go talking about the plot as generic. evil

      And as of romance, that definately sucks in this novel. There ain't much a development in that aspect.

      But overall it's a gem out there and legendary I say oru2x

        I agree with what ur saying because i actually had been reading this novel since it only had 100 or so chapters and kept up with the updates until it gradually ended.
        And honestly i think this novel is still to date the best of its kind....
        This system/modern day/apocalyptic plot is most probably one of the top3 ideas that instantly attract attention from people to just dive in the novel and i've seen many shitty novels with this type of idea attract a lot of attention just because of the novels idea.

        Im also a very big fan of this plot which is why i so much want to see a even better novel than this one on this particular genre ...Because objectively speaking this novel has many things that could be improved.

    I don't usually rate any novel, but after learning that this website has it, i specifically came here to rate 5 star. A Big recommendation from me. By the way for newcomers, this novel has manhwa with amazing artwork you should probally start with that. [ It is korean so many may have trouble with korean name, (it all sounded the same at first to me) but you will get used to it or just read manhwa]
    I bet my money on it, you will definitely like it.

    One of my favourite webnovels of all time. It has a very interesting plot that's done in its own style. The characters aren't amazing but still quite enjoyable.

    My main reason for recommending it is because of the satisfying ending (if you read the side stories). You know how some webnovels end and you just want to throw those last chapters in the trash? Not this one. It wraps everything up really nicely with a good balance of all elements. Personally, if I know a story has a bad ending, I won't read it. But a great ending can save a bad story. Solo Leveling has a good story and a great ending so I highly recommend! 8.6/10
