Welcome to Supremacy Games! The greatest entertainment platform in the universe that was created specifically to entertain and ease the boredom of the commoners all around the universe.

The platform was made out of tens of formats, each containing hundreds of deadly games that allowed the use of different cultivation systems.

Sports format had games, like football, rugby, track running, and many more of such sports.

Battles format had games, like battle royals, bounty hunt, points collection…etc

There was even a lifestyle competition format, that had games like baking cookoff, potion concoctions, fishing…etc.

As long as a game was fun and well received by the spectators, it would be added to the Supremacy Games platform.

The UVR that had 100% realism, made it easy for those games to be hosted inside it, and watched on a daily basis by every spectator in the universe. Whether live by entering the UVR and attending the stadiums, or through a live stream.

Felix Maxwell was just an average joe, who wasn’t really a popular player nor had a fanbase to support him in the games. He was just like the majority of the players. Add on, whose role was to make famous players shine even brighter.

However, his fate was completely changed after joining a clan mission with 54 other clanmates. The mission was completed successfully. But, on their way back to the clan, their spaceship radar picked up a large amount of energy coming from a destroyed planet.

His fate flipped upside down inside that said planet. What happened exactly on it? How did he end up after leaving it? Did he even leave it in the first place? Collapse

There's this story where the mc is sent back to time with his team mates (due to his high potential and being young) his main mission is to save humanity from annihilation..his first step is to save the world tree roots (base for humanity)from being destroyed by a certain fish and also to kill one of his tea mate because he would kill people and take their runes for his own which somehow affected the strength of humanity when fighting outside influence...can someone remind me of this novel and I know my explanation ain't hitting the spot so please bare with me...

I read the first chapter and saw that there are things from several timelines.
I like time travel, but I hate this multiverse stuff and different timelines where you meet other versions of yourself.
    Is that in this novel?

Why do I feel everyone who reads this novel, recommends it to others but not out of goodness, but a mentality of "Since I have fallen, I will make everyone fall"

Have read up to 420+ chapters.
One might expect that in an advanced world there awaits advanced community and life. Not really: savage VR games in which people are killing each other like gladiators. AI that doesn't mind helping the worst criminals even though it understands what's going on. The rulers who support the criminals as well.
MC in this story doesn't really have much motivation, but dives into such gladiator fights even when he gets another chance in life.
There's "cultivation" with bestial mutations and abilities. Universe with different races (lots of humans too). Those races hate humans for their greed and money-milking systems. The humans conquer and milk the new planets even if there live other humans. The usual.
The MC is getting nerfed when needed, does stupid decisions when required by the author. The usual.

IMO the best part was before the glatiator stuff has begun. Which took like 100 chapters. Later on there's the spectators, "wonders", which should have been performed by many gladiators throughout all of the years of VR existance already. Admiring the weak like if the stronger ones can't do such feats much, much easily. Excessive info about cultivation, lots of money-making, auctions, upcoming alchemy.
So far no romance, the relationships are mostly until the beginning of the VR (family, clan). Inside the VR it feels somewhat deserted, especially since the MC has to hide his strength and identity. There's some quite fun situations and some appealing characters, but not really that many. The fights aren't much, but sometimes there's good ideas and strategies. Mostly Battle Royale fights (however the opponents usually gang up vs single MC), some group ones as well.
    Overall I'd say it's 3/5.

So i am guessing that you have not read the book all the way so i will explain some things which actually do change in the later parts
Felix does get a romantic interest who most people can probably guess
He becomes op to the point of people wishing that someone nerfs him and he mostly makes stupid decisions because he has to get to the peak of the universe to help asna out(wont tell why cause spoiler) in a limited time span as he is a mortal for now at least
While if there is something super bullshit in his arsenal it would be his pain resistance which probably triumphs over everyone else

He got power in real life and there are no virtual reailiti, only a platform where they can interact with other race, tournament which use real life...so if you die in there you die in real life, tournament between race ( will be exlained more detailed later in the novel ). There are few more of it...you can try reading it, plus it is 1 chapter per day which is quite fast if you ask me compared to other novel i read. The world building is great. Hope my reply will be helpfull to you

Perhaps my taste has evolved, since recently I haven't really picked up a new novel, but SC seems to be falling in quality in recent chapters.
I can't pinpoint the objective moment where things start falling off, but the moment the novel fell for me was during a moment in the dragon arc, specifically where he uses a bunch of random gems each with different abilities, I mean, first of all, it just comes out of virtually nowhere and feels like plot armor, but secondly, and probably more importantly, I just couldn't care less about the fight scene since it didn't feel like the character being described was actually Felix. Aside from this, the quips are getting worn out and unintuitive, the buff rush pulls the readers further from a sense of connection, and the weakening pay-offs aren't doing enough to fill up the gaps left by the mentioned problems.
I mean, it's still ok I suppose, but definitely not as I remembered it to be in the beginning.
Or maybe CatsAreOverated just has bad taste. - Cat Lover somewhere, probably.

I second this whole comment. SG used to be one of my fav webnovels... But now its all gone, the arcs seem like a copy-paste of everything that's already been done, Felix already has established himself but the author wastes chapters reasserting how 'great' and 'powerful' he is, and no new well-written character or development of characters to the point it feels like Felix is running in a solo race and lastly, needless power-ups... This novel is becoming a shell of what it once was.
