Chapter 783: Secret Operation |

After Elvis left, Leo also made his way out of the room to meet up with the others so that they could begin with their secret operation.
It didn't take long for Leo to find his first target.
Currently, Ahmed and Vanessa are following the target as inconspicuous as possible. While the target was in front, they were helping the crowd evacuate to the secret pathway from the side, seemingly looking like they didn't have any sort of ulterior motives in mind.
Seeing this, Leo approached Ahmed and Vanessa.
"How's the evacuation?" Leo asked Ahmed, not wanting to raise any suspicion to their target.
As expected, the target immediately turned around to listen to what Guild Leader Loki was asking Ahmed. But he quickly calmed down a bit after hearing the question.
But unbeknownst to the target, the question that Leo had asked Ahmed was actually a code that meant 'How's the situation with the target?'.
"So far, the evacuation has been flowing smoothly. The crowd didn't cause any trouble," Ahmed reported. In translation, it meant, 'Our cover has not been blown up, and the target didn't try to do something suspicious'.
"So, what should we do next?" Vanessa can't help but ask.
Leo simply smiled in response as he turned his attention towards everyone who was assisting the evacuation of the crowd. He only took a short glimpse to their target to see if he was paying attention to them or not before quickly moving his eyes towards the others. Not long after, he called out, "Everyone, could you turn your attention to me for a moment, except for the civilians? All of you may continue following the line to the secret pathway. Just make sure to follow the instruction given to all of you before and don't do anything that will cause trouble to everyone here,"
Hearing Guild Leader Loki calling out to them, they quickly approached him as they all didn't dare to not obey him, especially considering his relationship with Seventh Prince Elmont, Princess Tifa, and Princess Tila.
Meanwhile, the crowd followed Guild Leader Loki's instruction without any second thoughts.
"Come closer, since I don't want any uninvolved people to hear what I am about to say, lest it would cause unnecessary panic to everyone present here," Leo said while motioning his hand towards him. He turned towards the tall people and instructed them, "Those with much taller height compared to the majority of us, please stand in the back to make some kind of barrier that will slightly prevent the crowd from seeing what we are doing,"
"On the other hand, the short ones come in front so that other people's heads won't block your sight, hahaha," Leo said with a chuckle.
The mood of everyone was immediately lightened up after hearing Guild Leader Loki chuckling. Initially, everyone felt a bit tense and solemn when Guild Leader Loki suddenly called out to all of them and gathered them together. But seeing that he could still joke around, they concluded that maybe what he's about to say is not going to be that bad, after all. At least, excluding the uninvolved people, as they aren't similar to them.
"Rest assured, everyone, it isn't that serious. I am just going to tell you about what we will do next once we are inside the secret pathway," Leo started briefing everyone on the next plan.
However, the truth was, there was never really another plan, to begin with.
As soon as everyone was in formation, Leo, Ahmed, and Vanessa suddenly made a move and launched an unexpected attack towards the hidden member of the Naughty Elves Organization.

Three separate wounds appeared on the body of the hidden member of the Naughty Elves Organization. Their locations were towards the different vital parts of a person's body, causing that person to lose his life quickly.
In one quick motion between the three, the target's body swiftly disappeared and was stored inside one of their Storage Rings. As to whose Storage Ring it was, only the three of them knew.
Everyone was utterly unable to react to the sudden action that Guild Leader Loki, Ahmed, and Vanessa did. When they finally responded, everything was already over, and one of the people with them just now disappeared as if he was never there from the beginning.
After quickly pulling themselves together, everyone instantly raised their guard against Guild Leader Loki, Ahmed, and Vanessa, cautious of what they would do next to everyone.
"Why… why did you do that?" One of the people decided to ask, confused and curious as to why Guild Leader Loki had attacked and killed one of them.
"You may rest assured, that person was a member of the Naughty Elves Organization," Leo replied. Since there are no longer any hidden members of the Naughty Elves Organization with them, he didn't hesitate anymore to reveal the truth to everyone.
Honestly, he would not have decided to use this method if only the situation with their target was different. After all, their plan was initially to eliminate members of the Naughty Elves Organization in secret.
A moment ago, their target was sticking very closely with his team members and some other people. Because of that, Leo realized that it would be next to impossible to kill that person without anyone noticing. Needless to say, it doesn't mean that it's impossible to kill their target. It's just that he needs to think of another method to do it.
That was why he observed everyone for a brief moment. At that time, he was thinking of a plan inside his mind on how he should do it. In the end, he decided that since he can't prevent other people from noticing that they had killed someone, he might as well minimize the number of people that will see.
With that in mind, he gathered the people who were assisting in the evacuation since there were only a few of them. Of course, he can't just call out a specific group of people as that would no doubt raise suspicion. Afterward, he arranged for everyone to prevent anyone other than the people who gathered to see what was about to transpire.
When he was finished with all the preparation needed, Leo secretly gave Ahmed and Vanessa a signal to eliminate their target.
Baffled and still debating inside their minds whether to believe Guild Leader Loki or not, one of them followed up with another question, "How can we trust you? What if the real member of the Naughty Elves Organization here turns out to be the three of you?"
"If we were indeed members of the Naughty Elves Organization, then none of you here in the Victory Arena would be able to escape from my hand," Leo proclaimed while wearing a mischievous smile on his face.
"Our Guild Leader is merely joking," Ahmed quickly butted in the conversation. He started clarifying things, "What we meant to say is, we aren't Elves, so we could never be members of the Naughty Elves Organization. After all, the Sun Elf God only accepts people from the Elf race. Anyone from the other race in the Celestial World would be automatically disregarded or treated as nothing but mere cannon fodders. And most importantly, will Seventh Prince Elmont, Princess Tifa, and Princess Tila trust us if we were actually members of the Naughty Elves Organization?"
Vanessa quickly added, "Seventh Prince Elmont, Princess Tifa, and Princess Tila would be giving everyone an explanation later once we finally arrived in the safe place. So, until then, I hope everyone won't go around spreading what you have seen here. Please keep it to yourselves for the meantime, and once everything is over, you are free to spread everything here as far and wide as you want."
"We will believe your words. But only for this moment. If ever we see the three of you or anyone else from the Mischievous Lion Guild killing someone else again, you should expect that we will tell everyone and report to the Evergreen Royal Family that your guild is going around killing people,"
After saying that, everyone quickly started leaving and went back to their designated position to resume assisting in the evacuation of the civilians.
"I'll go find the others and continue with the operation. On the other hand, the two of you should observe everyone and make sure that no news of what had happened here would spread to the other places lest the remaining hidden members of the Naughty Elves Organization would hear about it. Anyways, the Red Fist Guild is already dispatching people to assist us, so once they arrive, tell them of what I said, and they will help you," Leo instructed.
"Consider the job complete, Guild Leader Loki," Ahmed and Vanessa nodded their heads in confidence.
Hearing the tone of confidence in their voice, Leo was no longer worried as he started moving to another location to find the others.
