Hello, this is the author. The first twenty chapters will be a little slow-paced because I needed time to introduce some things. From Chapter 20, I will speed things up. ALSO the protagonist I planned to write about is not a superhero! He is frequently a coward and, at times, quite stupid. You may wonder, why have you made such a character? Because what I wanted to show is GROWTH. No one is born almighty, no one is born ruthless, and no one is born wise. People have to sweat to achieve these results, which is precisely what I intend my MC to do!     The only novel that managed to convince me with GOD TIER CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT IS OVERGEARED. Ngl, overgeared started as trash novel for me, and I dont really know how come I've managed to read all thos shitty chapters from 1-1000. But After Khan died, the story progression took a little bit of my interest then that grew into something like 'wow'. It's not comparable to most top tier novel like RI, LOTM and others but still ONLY OVERGEARED managed to create that type of MC (shitty to solid character) kudos. In any case, that's a gamble on my part, and this novel seems to be not worthy of gamble seeing the reviews amd ratings. Bye bye

    I haven't read the novel, only the synopsis. I am not sure what the author means by starting as coward and stupid? It is almost impossible for a person to change from those characteristics and suddenly becaome smart. It is the same as saying a smart person becoming stupid. (Please nobody comment we can hit his head). Death Note and Code Geass are perfect examples of smart people grasping their opportunity and achieving their goals.

        That means not being able to articulate properly what you want to convey to your audience. Also this is not called stupid. We have a word called inexperienced, and there is nothing wrong with that.

      I beg to differ. Indeed, someone can't suddenly become smart. That is why author pointed out the slow pacing at start, to tell the process of MC changing his previous characteristics. Characteristics or traits may be hard to change, but with willpower and enough experience, I suppose it's possible. I haven't read the story yet, but I think the synopsis makes sense. A coward and stupid boy forced to change due to the events happening around him. I think that's what the author's pointing at.

    there was so much potential. but shit writing sent it down the drain. i dont even care about the points other raised. sometimes people are broken beyond repair but author is not willing to accept that. plus a filler chapter only 50 chapters in especially when story chapters has been small. i understand word count sells but half the chapter being status especially end of one chapter being one and then the next chapter being one when only thing that happened in between was mc sleeping. author does not even care about the product he is putting out. also this is the stupidest world building i have seen and i have read invisible dragon.

    Yep when you see authors type trash like "no one is almighty at the start" or "i want him to grow" just know you're about to read absolute shit. Authors who know what they are doing don't find the need to justify their character's stupidity in their synopsis.

    tired of authors trying to make mc's "grow" and then having a shitty mc for a horrendous amount of time or the mc never improves mentally or whatever, just make the mc be a little deranged and be done with it, there you go, a mc that's born ruthless, or can analyze a situation properly without seeming like a damn newborn child. sorry for the rant for anyone who decided to read this.

    I hate this type of MCs so much but i still manage to force myself to read until chap. 130 and i must say i saw no 'growth' whatsoever about MCs character that the author talked about.

    One word TRASH!

    Honestly, the only thing i like about this novel is the fight scenes.

    For future readers, if you can stomach the MCs character then this is a novel you might like.

    MC is a hypocritical psycho, it is understandable due to bullying, but it really doesn't matter when the MC turns into one himself, it could be due to the Biological chip influence on him which is not something the author gave any info about but in the very beginning the Biological chip was referred to as an entity in of itself rather that a system, so it might be that it is taking over but as we are yet in the beginning of the story it is not clear
    anyway, just as Stomper621 mentioned 'the concept, world, powers, and MC's cheat are all really good' but it is a shame about the MC character which seriously needs fixing
