I'm so bored, that I am going to try and read these 4000 chapters of a novel I know nothing about, that was never recommended to me, that I've never once heard anyone talk about, etc. Who knows, maybe it'll be fun.

Very good table of contents. You can skip meaningless chapters by the hundreds.

Decent at start and seemed like it would be a good novel but got worse kinda fast. One sided characters. MC always seem to chase someone else (not power but literally always another person kidnapped, gone or whatever, but need power to get to them). Same semi bad story until like 2k+ then it gets better but soon the translation goes to shit where they keep changing name on cultivation levels, sometimes use the same word for a bunch of things that shouldn't use that word (you can make sense of it but super annoying) and shift she/he alot. It's a pain to read at that point even if the story got somewhat better

Sword techniques are vaguely explained with only fancy and exaggerated effects. The battles are not fighting but mostly trashtalks, exaggerated reaction of npcs, and author trying hard to hype those bland fights. Translation made it so that everyone is like half Americans cursing during fights. As for the MC, nothing special other than the blessing of his ancestor that let him comprehend skills faster. His personality is as bland as it can be with no character development.

The only thing that I don't like that he is pursuing his shuang'er like a donkey before carrot, giving the the feelings that whatever he do , he would never be with her, otherwise, it's really good after 600~700 chapter.

Very, very ordinary.
MC knows a special sword technique everyone is surprised "how could he have learned it, how did he do it,omfg!!" blah blah blah blah, but we dont know anything, we dont know whats special about that movement.
Another long novel based on classical chinese shit clichés, until the 15th episode 4 face slapping 1 revenge I definitely don't wonder what happened in the remaining 5k episodes

Translation gets unbearable at some point after he goes to the absolute beginning world around chap 2700 ( give or take 100 chapters i just kept reading until it got too incomprehensible stopped at 2810
