    1096 was essentially the last chapter of this novel, then everything goes into The Wanderer of Worlds, so in essence Lin Wu is not completely lost, although I am sorry that there is one less novel in the collection.
    In fact, the story is very crumpled and chaotic. There is a lot more that could be described here, but the author simply decided after the breakthrough in the Stronghold Worm to stop the story and make him a minor character in the Wanderer of Worlds. Well..

    It's not that it's slow, but the chapters are short and a lot of them are pointless, which is the main motif of this novel frankly. Pointless characters, pointless events, pointless dialogue and so on...
    Even MC being a beast/abomination becomes a pointless afterthought somewhere along the way and almost loses its relevance.

      the point is u just don't like the novel or not ur genre which is always fine, but calling the novel pointless without reason or example just make u an a*@#*@(dunno really XD)

      also, what might be pointless to u might not necessarily be pointless to others...

    im really glad that some authors go back to their first chapters and re-write them
    the usual excuse of suffer through X chapters it gets good after should not exist but ive been through some painfull begginings to see some gold in the past, still it should not be the norm but the exception

    im going really slow at the beggining, some times half a chapter a day but i will prevail
