This novel novel from IET the cultivation in relation to battle power for the MC is all over the place. The side characters and other characters adhere to it and it’s explainable but for the Mc it got confusing for me, like he trained his body to emperor but is not one then he reached emperor soul level ”maybe it’s the translation”.

The say he reached Demon emperor level but is still and golden immortal level. Peak immortal emperors can’t kill a golden immortal. Most of of it attributed to the treasures he got from uncle Uncle Lan such as the golden immortal puppet the realm treasure “thick plot armor” if not this boy would be dead.

I kinda feel sorry for the amount of collateral damage the people who die because his enemies are looking for him or are blackmailing etc specifically that Emperor Yu caused so much damage directly or indirectly. This guy did all that just for a map that gives guidence in realm that came from the divine realm

I solid IET novel. Its the 1st novel so lower expectations.

Another I Eat Tomatoes classic.

It’s his first novel and it shows, the writing is a little more stale, plot armor is common, and the style is a little lacking. But you should still read it. I’ve read it a few times and if you’ve read Coiling Dragon Ring than you definitely like this one. It’s a bit more focused on Chinese cultivation than CD but it’s still a solid read.

I’d give it a nice 4 out of 5.

This novel is extremely bad. It starts out okish and goes downhill very quick. The family drama doesn’t work at all. It feels cringe. The father character is an as*hole. The MC is mostly stupid and boring. But this is still better than what is to come later on. Once the MC is “strong” in the kingdom, he keeps encountering dangerous situations after dangerous situations. We have so many life threatening situations where the mc barely hangs n but ultimately survives mostly because of plot armour. It’s not fun to read this at all. Especially because these situations are brought because of MC’s stupidity. One example is that early on the MC knows that the ocean is very dangerous, but is still stupid enough to keep going downwards. He hears many monsters in the surroundings betting when he will die but he still keeps going downwards and gets into an enemy trap. He acts as if he is invincible and keeps getting into traps.

Why do you keep mentioning embroidery needle in fighting and nothing more, why every reaction feels kinda bad and no emotions and just stupidity from anyone who fights the protagonist, it's kinda repetitive however the story is good and the novel is satisfying tbh

I must say this is one of the best novels I’ve read, IET also has other really good books that I recommend you read if you enjoy this book.
