On the 15th of March 2139, the world mourns the passing of Darius Stone, billionaire broker, and philanthropist.

Yet while his family and friends put his body to rest, Darius wakes up to find himself reborn into a younger body in a different world.

A strange voice informs him that his soul has been transported into the magic-filled world of Faust on the behest of a mysterious Goddess called Vena, for the sole purpose of entertaining her through his struggles.

In this world where any dream can be achieved with enough effort, he sets out to become a Supreme, an existence above Mortals and even Gods!

.........

Warning: This novel features a villainous protagonist. If you have enjoyed Warlock of the Magus World, then you should be able to tolerate Darius Stone’s actions and choices throughout the novel in terms of Morality.

Note: This story is slow-paced in order to allow for better world-building and development. If you’re looking for a fast-paced action story, this might not be for you. Collapse

All you need to know about this story: at the point when MC is 5 times as clever as a standard person + all his previous life experience the MC still can’t figure out that killing a being 8 levels higher than him will make him god level…. With just one kill of 19 lvl human or beats while MC is 11 lvl would grant him enough XP to insta lvl up to god. The author proclaims MC to be a genius and at the same time MC can’t figure out such simple formula.

Idiot author made an idiotic level up system with a loophole, every normal human being would use it but the MC can’t for the sake of the story…1/5

well if u read a bit more chapters you'd know that lvlups get stuck on lvl 20 and he needs to complete quest to level up to next stage. So if he did as you describe he would still get stuck LOL.

It sounds so fake, 100% it’s made up on the go to stop criticism and prolong the story. I’ve read further spoilers and only masochists enjoy this novel, no normal person would like being shit upon to that extent. The way the author is bullying mc is perverted!

Well im at like 150th chapter but there is also info that exp is capped at +5 lvl above MC's so he can't kill high lvl and get milions of level.
At the start it was said that the XP system was to be explored by MC.

Gee, it's almost as if I already thought about that from the beginning when designing the novel. if it's so obvious even an idiot like you can see it, how could I possibly not?

I always find readers who discover obvious flaws that are rectified later and use the same excuse as you funny.

Mother dearest may pat your head and tell you you're the smartest and handsomest, but that ain't always true.

Dude, don't destroy a perfectly good novel with your shit review caused by impatience.

It's nonsensical to review a novel by reading 50chapters out of 600+

Mind you, you didn't read that much.

Dude, I’ve read like 20 long novels here, so it’s obvious for me from the start if a novel is “cleverly” written or not. Moreover why the f#ck should I read more than 50-100 chapters to write a review?! If a novel is good it starts good and goes on also good. That’s beta-male mindset to wait for 500 shitty chapters for some potentially good writing afterwards.

Dude… I’ve read ur review, now I understand that it’s no use arguing with you. I have nothing to say to somebody who likes infinite mana… Those types of novels are meant for little kids, maximum teenagers: there’s absolutely nothing to think about there, same as marvel movies ruin cinema, such novels ruin literature. So if you’re a grown up, than I’m sorry for your damaged brain, but if you’re a kid than that’s ok for you to enjoy such shit but when you grow up you’ll understand me and change your mind.

          That's bull*hit.

Just because a novel isn't too your liking doesn't mean it's not worthwhile.

Dude, I also dropped this novel twice at ch26 and ch36, before picking back up.

It's human characteristics that the first few novel pages gives a lasting impression of infuriating.

But if you can struggle to read to first arc, it's gets exponentially better from that point onwards.

          Speaking from experience.

Now I'm waiting for new chapters.

It is impossible to enjoy a novel where some god torments a guy all the way long. At least there have to be some “fairness” rules like in birth of the demonic sword. But here some holy overpowered shit just takes what belongs to MC and makes him suffer. Only masochists would enjoy such stuff.

I'm utterly speechless at your astounding foolishness.

You seem to be the sort of reader who enjoys books based on their emotions.

Well, this book wasn't for everybody, and especially not for you.

This is book that follows pure logic, and anyone who has a logical mindset would see why such a thing happened.

Also, readers are becoming addicted to 'I can only put my fate in hands' kind of MC.

That's what happening here, what happens when the MC is soo outclassed his helpless.

Not because he was lazy, just he ran into the an unbeatable character.

Reality is a bummer, that's why a lot of us run to our webnovels.

Life can't go the way you want, which this author clearly portrays, which in turn allowed the MC to grow.

There's nothing wrong about that part of thanatos in my opinion.

Plus those 'oppressive gods' are now in darius's palm.

Review after 16 chapters. The hero is not smart at all. The author says a lot of nonsense. He promises to hide useless packets of information so that the reader can figure it out along the way, and then just dumps a bunch of information. The funny thing is that the author does not understand physics and chemistry at all. As a result, his "genius" hero makes himself look stupid. I will try to read further for the sake of adventure (For 16 chapters, the hero, chose class and second class by lottery, killed a boar, turned a flask of sand into water and a leaf into a dagger, killed a snake and fought a bear. End. 16 chapters of filler.). You just need to remember that the hero is pretentious, not smart. He cannot use the brain for the simplest approximation of using a dagger. Maybe there will be something interesting, but this is not "Kingdom's Bloodline".

Oh, that's sarcasm. I think the author will not lose much if he is not read on a pirated site. It's true. Therefore, comments are written primarily for other readers. Didn't you know that? There are tons of novels that are good but not great. There are great novels that I would recommend to others. And there is a nightmare that deceives the reader's expectations. The author is not obliged to know everything, however, if he undertakes to call the hero very smart, and then makes him do stupid things, it is a gross mistake. Likewise with questions of physics, chemistry, economics, social structure. Or study the material you are talking about. Or don't get involved in questions that you don't understand. The author of this novel definitely doesn't know this simple rule. If you like novel, go ahead and enjoy it. Can you ignore the MC's stupidity? I'm happy for you. I can not. Try to read "Kingdom's Bloodline" The hero is smart but inexperienced. He is taught from mistakes. The characters are deep and realistic. It's a masterpiece and it's a shame the chapters haven't been updated for a long time. Try Mother of Learning. Lord of the Mysteries, The Rebirth of the Malicious Empress of Military Lineage, Desolate era, Perfect Run. These are masterpieces in their genres. "Supremacy Games" and "The Author's POV" are pretty good, but one step down. As for "Darius Supreme" - I cannot recommend it. I tried to read on, but it's boring and stupid. The hero received power, which he can already conquer the world right at the start of the book, but what does he do? *Sigh.

First of all, thank you for the recommendations.

Second, I'm the editor of this novel, hence why I chose a sarcastic reply, but since you seem to be a reasonable fellow, I shall apologise for it. boast

I can't force you to read the novel, nor would I want to, because as we can both agree on, I literally have nothing to gain. However, I'll leave this reply for other readers who might want to check it out.

Let's dissect your initial review, shall we ;)

          Review after 16 chapter.

Different novels require a different number of chapters for a story to get going. Unfortunately, you didn't even make it to the first village (ch. 26), where things begin to get interesting.

As the synopsis warns you, this story is slow-paced, and with each chapter being around 1,000 words in length, there really isn't much that happens in a single chapter on its own.

          Quote: jidmoov

There is a difference between letting readers read between the lines and not saying anything about the new world MC find himself in. Certain ground rules have to be established so that readers can actually guess/try to understand what MC does later on.

          Quote: jidmoov

The MC was a tycoon businessman who got reincarnated into a fantasy world with no knowledge about except for some basics. I don't get why people expect MCs to be a master of all traits. He isn't a martial artist to know how to correctly use a dagger, except for the basic 'poke them with the shart end' XD

Sure, some of his actions are stupid in the beginning, however, as I stated his strong point had never been being a master class fighter, but using his brain. That's kinda hard to do when you have no idea about the world and its rules you suddenly find yourself in.

If you read on, you can see how he starts to manipulate people to do his bidding in the village, and how he does so even better in the first town (around ch. 90-100).

Personally, I would say it starts getting really good after the time skip, once MC actually has had the time to lay down a foundation, but whether you would want to spend so much time, is up to each reader.

In essence, I would reccomend for everyone to at least finish the village arc, and perhaps give the town arc a chance, by then you should know if this novel is for you or not :3

The MC can give sub-systems with its ring. The recipient immediately becomes a loyal follower. What prevented the MC from giving the sub-system to the monster and making him his pawn?

Ironically, this is one of the things that we didn't explain until later, but our MC, unlike you, had already figured out that in this world the golden rule was 'If it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't.' Remember, Caesar pretty much stated that Darius wasn't brought here to be some hero, but primarily to dance like a monkey for someone else's pleasure.

As we find out soon enough that thing has a clear limit of 1 Branded Servant per stage. As such, Darius only tries it out around ch. 50-ish when he finds a worthy servant to brand, so he wouldn't waste his chance if there was a limit to it.

              Quote: jidmoov
MC can make magic scrolls from sheets of paper. But I see this as a much more powerful weapon - information! It's like Google. Everything that exists in the world can be created by transmutation. People write secrets. There are secret services. There are travel guides. An MC can recreate a copy of a nonmagical piece of information for a paltry cost. Only magical things are expensive. And he doesn't even think about it. It checks a large package for the system, ignoring available things.

Are you sure you read the chapters and didn't skim them over?

Chapter 14; Naturally, it had crossed Darius' mind earlier to create a survival guidebook with his ability, but he had ruled that out for two reasons. The first was that until the reset, he was left with 1.79 Conversion Points, and the second was the fact that he could not become a seasoned wildlife traveler with just a single book.

Even with the Supreme System's Database helping him catalog all obtained knowledge, he would still have to read the book and understand what he needed to do.

If reading books could make a person a professional, then education would be solely about cramming as much knowledge as one could in one's heads within a limited amount of time.

… perhaps that was not the best analogy in this situation.

Darius rubbed his hair and pondered his options. He thought about gathering a bunch of leaves to create tarpaulin for a tent, but the issue with that was the fact that he simply did not know how to put a tent together.

              Quote: jidmoov
What prevented him from creating another world analogue of matches and starting a fire in the forest? Besides, MC is the "evil guy". What prevented him from creating another world analogue of matches and starting a fire in the forest? Tons of experience! Mountains of loot!

Ceasar actually hoped that Darius would think like that. Powerleveling instantly actually was a trap, and would have made his Impossible Quest, truly Impossible. Just another case of 'If it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't.'

              Quote: jidmoov

Instead, he risks his life. When he could just send the bear with a teleportation scroll 100 meters up and let him fall (poof! The bear is dead), the hero suffers from eighth-grade syndrome and learns to fireball (only to freeze and get broken bones).

I understand that this is done for the sake of heating up the tension and the moment of overcoming, but will a smart hero do this?

That is not at all what has happened. He passed out from exhaustion after trying to reach the next village ASAP. Was that smart? Hell no, but we already know that he has limited knowledge, and as the quote above should show, he can't afford to just spend his CP willy-nilly because he doesn't know and what he might need the for.

The TP scroll is only usable on himself, and the reason he suffered the broken bones was because

Chapter 16; For a split second, Darius became dazed as the knowledge assimilated with his brain and memories, turning him from someone who had just heard the spell name to someone who had spent months practicing it to perfection.
Unfortunately, that split second was all the Grey Bear needed to reach Darius, where he was promptly swatted away with its large paw. The poor fellow was sent flying, his back whomping into one of the trees that had formed the edge of the unnamed forest.
Darius gasped for air as his lungs had been emptied by the hit and subsequent crash, his struggled breathing yielding some spurts of blood from internal bleeding.

Not a survival guide. Kingdom guide. It is not necessary to do a complete one, but it is enough to order information about the nearest village (I remember that there were two places to choose from with a different number of houses). For example, you might place a line from a merchant's notes about a local leader and his personality traits on a sheet. Another example is the village tax notes and source of income. Just a couple of paragraphs from the royal envoys to collect taxes. The smaller the thing, the fewer points, right? With a few simple hints, it's easy to gather information. If one of the villages is slave traders? If one of the villages is a hidden bandit base? The forest is full of dangers. The black widow is very small and will easily kill him. The tick can cling to the skin imperceptibly, then encephalitis develops and MC dies again. You don't need a complete guide to the forest, just a few paragraphs about the most dangerous creatures for travelers. And then, by transmutation, create some kind of local fumigator. You can also learn about it from a couple of lines of information.

Some might say that it is bad that it happenned but if you read at least the first 25 chapters you would realise he has a very powerful skill
And if it is about the so called forced isn't he there to entertain that goddess and it wouldn't remain like that after all he gets stronger and it might be him playing her sooner or later (will update this when i get there)
update: i won't explain much, just check chapter 543 ,when his meeting with the goddess begins, it would give you the needed information (also there is a little spoiler about the end of guild wars which is his other novel)
A strange voice informs him that his soul has been transported into the magic-filled world of Faust on the behest of a mysterious Goddess called Vena, for the sole purpose of entertaining her through his struggles.

Not to say that the supposed 'divine items' are mostly things that he could make himself in the future without problems and hardly any cost. The revival stone, though? Something that even Vena, the goddess that sent him was really interested in it.
