Romantic storyline is overrated? Why do u even need so much of it? It's even more than in some romance concentrated stories. It's the first time i see so much romance in fantasy adventure novel except for "overpowered for shit reason mc with harem" type novels.

Hey guys, for anyone wondering why theres been a lack of chapters recently, its because Eve is currently finishing his first novel, Birth of the Demonic Sword. Hes says hes struggling to wrote/ focus atm but he has a deadline with webnovel to finish by so everything hes got is going into releasing chapters for BotDS. Hes also having some personal issues that hes mentioned on replies on webnovel.
Just have patience everyone, it will be worth the wait im sure

Anyone know the reason for general lack of update?

I really love good sci-fi novels. I don't have much experience to decide wether a novel is good or bad, but if you want to read a pretty good sci-fi novel, that has aliens, space, and alien worlds then you hav a pretty solid novel in front of you.
Yes, it has a romance element, and I have to say that it is working for me. It has a lot of realism, not like the many chinese and almost all of the Webnovel's novels out there. It can be, and it will be hard to read that part, and the romance's repetition, but hey, who cares?

And some shit, that doesn't really fit here, but I need a lot more quality sci-fi novels!

The novel is good but the romance is terrible here. I hate how the author develops the relationships only to have them break up soon. So the while the other things are nice in this novel, the romance part is very bad here. Sorry to say but i think i will drop it because it does not suit my taste with all these constant breakups.

I really want to start reading this but I'm hesitating. But the thing is I've seen far far worse things than a simple bf/gf breakup troupe. So maybe I'll give it a try? I'll write a review later.

The novel was amazing coz of the feelings of emotional attachment it can grow in a reader's heart. The characters seem alive and we can bond with them pretty well through out the novel. The only cons in purely my opinion is the author's use of fmc, it's a pretty common troupe but i still hate the feeling of bonding and come to like some character just for it to be thrown away like trash the next chaps. And the last thing that I didn't like is over focus on the trauma aspect like supreme magus, it's not that I don't like mc overcoming trauma and growing emotionally. The thing I don't like one bit the mc bitching about it throughout the whole novel. That's the exact reason why I dropped supreme magus coz the mc was still a mental patient at chap 700 somthing. Well maybe I m the one weird coz I know many ppl liked supreme magis, but I just can't get myself to read it. Anyway this whole review as mentioned earlier is purely bases on my opinion. So don't take offense.

I was start read for Sci-fi&Fantasy&Antihero Protagonist but i'm get Martial Arts&Drama&Romance.

In this novel mana just scale value for punches and kicks damage. Ofc it has more supernatural features but around mc in first 177 chaps you can forget about.
Sci-fi also barely can be seen. There is some glass phones, spaceships etc, but you will see it less dozen times except phones and holograms in special places.

Why this novel have antihero protagonist tag? It's more like damaged protag or smth like this. His behavior exactly like everyone else mc's but he always think about his traumas also. He just run around and try to save everything he can...

Fights in this novel described really good but it's also flaw. I was enjoyed several first times but later it's become boring. For me this battle scenes looks like "His leg's muscle shrink. his leg move 10 mm left. He make a kick. His leg's mu...". Too much details for me so i'm skip big chunks of battles.
This 177 chaps that i was read consist from training and romance. Hundred chaps of endless romance. Plot barely move. You can also forget about adventures coz mc just stay one place for months then he change location to stay in one place again.
When i saw author i decide to drop it. Too much build up and super slow plot as author's previous work so i can say this style already become his/her main style.

After all it's great but not for me.
