As the description has said there is an element of edge to it, but it's placed very tastefully and in a very self aware manner.
I'd say the author feels less of a writer and more of a director of total chaos orchestrated with complete control. This novel a Masterclass. It is both frustratingly satisfying and satisfyingly frustrating.
As you read the chapter comments you'll be able to witness how the author plays with the reader's emotions. from not even able to decide if Riley should be someone they like or hate, and going from not liking or even hating some side characters *cough* gary *cough* to wanting to adopt their own gary in their life.
It's a rollercoaster of a ride and I couldn't be happier to invite you to join me and everyone else on it

A really good alternative for veterans readers, however it could be a bit edgy for new or teen readers, after all theres tons of mature content (gore/sex/vocabulary), still at least for me at ch 100 is a solid 4,5.

Guys i am just saying in the next chapters the author is taking us to a wild up and downs and gotta say this sh*t is next level, damn i got goosebumps all over. The plot is really NXT lvl

Am I the only one who wants Riley and Hannah to be together? It seems like a brother and sister who do not have the same blood can marry.

11/10 if you have mastered the dao of sword and are immune to edge.
still 11/10 even if you bleed from edginess cause no one gives a f#ck.
