After reading this i've developed an allergy toward protagonists who reincarnate, transmigrate or receice a system. I can't help but compare them to MC and see them as a fool.

I read up until chapter 45 and this was the most contradicting story I've read, I can't say anything after chapter 45 but up until chapter 45, this has sucked ass.

Character Design:1/5
The setup is quite nice, we get to see MC die and wander the void while strengthening his soul for a few Epochs until he eventually reincarnated but with his memories and soul power, so far so good. It's reincarnation but done in a different manner.

Afterwards, MC is born and decided that he had to temper his Dao heart once again nothing bad and was pretty decent until the tests come in.

One of the tests we MC has to endure loneliness for 100 years, which looking at his background and how he wandered the void for thousands of years it's nothing much. Except MC loses his 'mind' over being lonely for 100 years. It then proceeds to tell us that some other fatass 6-year-old kid managed to endure because 'he's used to being bullied and loneliness' even though the dude was only 6.

Next, we have another trial of lust, up to this trial MC has suffered countless tortures for quite a few hundred years so you'd think he'd have a firm mind/will but nope he got honey trapped by some girls countless times even whilst knowing it was a honey trap and once again the fatass friend manages to get past it because he overdosed himself on some aphrodisiacs.

We then see his other trials where he's not hesitated to kill billions of people just so he can obtain power, he became basically a demon only wanting power while killing his way up to the top. But then in real life, he's hesitant about killing someone and goes through some mental trauma after killing them because of his 'earth's values' while he had already lived for epochs and lived in illusions for thousands of years and in most of those years he'd endured all sorts of torture and humiliations and even committed slaughters but couldn't stop hesitating over killing someone?

Translation quality:
The grammar is decent, it's not out of the world, at the start the grammar is a bit rough, and some sentences aren't well put together to ensure a smooth read but it does get progressively better grammar-wise. 3/5

The stability of updates:
Seems to be on and off, some days you get a few chapters and others you don't, seems to have no specific update stability. 3/5

Story Development:
Up to chapter 45 nothing's been developed, MC tortured himself for these 45 chapters pretty much.

World Background:
The world background hasn't really been explained since most of the novel has been focused on tempering his Dao's heart however there are some explanations about the world background. 2/5 or a 3/5

Overall:
Keep in mind I've only read up to chapter 45 and haven't seen anything past this, the novel could have gotten better in the later chapters and my review is strictly for the first 45 chapters. 2/5
