Villain Retirement by Romeru

There's a Huge plot hole right now and it's blaring obvious it comes from this line that Diane said
this is confusing because multiple times it's said that themarian don't fall in love hard(Literally, it's apart of their races psychology) and there's been point where megawoman straight up said
she fell out of love with her husband. In later chapters it's even implied she values Riley more than her son. Example, She had to evacuate her people and her son and he asked if she could help him evacuate like the rest she said "No wait your turn, Riley will pick you up see ya I'm savin other people" not the exact quote but it gets the message across. Then there's another example when she was doing superhero stuff she basically abandoned her family to help other people.
The reason I'm ranting like this in the first place is because the authors trying to make megawomen downbad for Riley and I'm fine with that even if it's REALLY WEIRD but don't be breakin your own rules just to have another harem member.
Diane she follows this rule, she's kind to her family but if one of them died or went missing she wouldn't affected by it too much. This was the case when Hannahs variants got merked, when Benard got merked. It is stated though that she loves Benard alot but when he died she was like "Meh It happens'

so i haven’t read anywhere near as far as most of you. only at chapter 67 but i gotta say i’m all for spoilers in a lot of novels and the ones i’m getting is that Riley doesn’t change so i gotta drop this cause i don’t like repetitiveness if it doesn’t benefit the plot :(
