I remember liking this novel when i read it back on webnovel. I wouldn't call it good, but it was addicting enough to read from start to finish. 3.9 out of 5.

I had enough for 260 chapters. Worst translation, worse than MTL. Stupid characters, stupid world, stupid actions. At first it was so bad that it was even good, but then it got worse.

Man, story had potential, but cheats, unexpected power ups/insights started piling up so hard it's just very hard to go on. I mean mc is already unrealistically know it all and super talented, he really doesn't need anything aside from that to be classified as op. But mc also has cube, which I could deal with, but he also has those unexpected power ups so he doesn't need to put in any work, and finally he got freaking diablo world filled with mana so he can train faster PLUS 20 times time acceleration.

I mean wtf? I have read till 100+ and he already crushes any talent absolutely in every field just with his base talent without any cheats, he easily beats talented knights over twice his age. And now he has freaking twenty times time acceleration and more mana???? I mean since the diablo space has 5x more mana, this space basically gives him 100x speed of training, on top of his talent which is probably multiple times anyone else.
It's just so lame, we all know mc is going to beat everyone, but there needs to be that illusion of struggle and progress. Idk it's just too much. Cake is nice if you get slice, but when you have cake size of an car you are probably just going to run away from it after while. Cake slice being really strong talented mc, whole cake being pretty damn op mc, cake size of an car being this novel.

Point is, he has infinite money glitch + insane training speed due to cube. But on top of that he has 100x training chamber now and his sudden power ups. It's just too much, he could be the best without any of these cheats very easily, but he has them too. I'm just very scared to go on because he's already regularly getting plot armor and cheats, it's only 100 chapters so what about next 1400?

Okaish popcorn novel. Mc makes it a hard read a lot of times. He is generally a mary sue. A genius who is good at everything for no apparent reason. Sure his cheat helps him somewhat. But a lot of times he is just good at everything without any reason. Also he doesn’t have a personality. It was said that he was a 40 year old man. But he behaves like a naive child. Cries “ma ma ba ba” because he transmigrated. Lots of cringe scenes.

Doesn’t go too much into the face slapping cliches. Though the face slapping that happens is too generic. It’s always some rando inconsequential character who doesn’t recognise the mc or sees that mc is in common clothes, etc and insults the mc. Mc kills or threatens them and its done. There is nothing interesting about it nor is it funny in any way. Sometimes it feels like mc is baiting others to get face slapped or killed. He could avoid a lot of troubles by just putting his insignia on his chest. But he never does.

Another thing that is sort of infuriating is mcs danger sense. From the beginning itself mc has this ability to sense malicious intentions or danger. But mc always ignores it. And the funny thing is his senses are always correct. It’s one thing to ignore some weak nameless character as they can’t do anything to mc. But he does it even when the others are much stronger than him. When mc is a noob wizard in a market he exposes his bank balance. He immediately feels a malicious gaze from the shop owner. He ignores it. He goes out. The shop owner follows him and says that it is dangerous to expose his balance and take care. Mc is like okay. The shop owner says i am going to show you a new shop where you can buy cool stuff. Mc is like cool dude take me there. Mc notices that he is being taken to a secluded area where not many people visit. Mc still doesn’t do anything. He gets caught by a person much more powerful than himself. Mc kills him due to plot armour. Such dumb scenes happen again and again and again. Mc never learns.

There are also a lot of times you just want to hit the mc in the face. There was a scene where mc is practising multi tasking. Yeah ok its a good thing. But he keeps doing it while he is eating in front of others. He can’t even eat properly. He can’t even talk or walk or even think properly. Mind you he could stop that non sense training anytime he wants but he never does and we get a few chapters of mc fumbling around like an idiot.

The cheat was somewhat okay but underdeveloped. Mc never goes beyond mix potions/consumables to bet better potions/consumables. The whole diablo world is boring and bland as mcs gains from it are not a lot. He just gets more time than others.p which he never uses properly. The translations are atrocious. General stuff is still readable but anything diablo based is poorly and sometimes wrongly translated. Spears are called rifles for some stupid reason. The names of characters are horrible. Item effects and names are wrong. Technique names are comical.

There are some faults with this novel but they are pretty much inconsequential to the overall story. Biggest damn flaw of everything though is the title And the Wizard. The main characters name is Abel. Bugs me to no end!

First the original bad guys are Orcs, but are in fact Worgen.
Second the Orcs mage class is called diety but really are Necromancers from Diablo.
MC is OP however at least he doesn't go out of his way to flaunt it.
There's a thing or two about the Dark World but they are so minor I can't remember them...I think it's about naming items.
Damn Wizard skills called Movement in a Flash, just call it Flash, or Blink.

If you can get over those things which are very minor it's a pretty good story.

Well, not bad. The novel has good and bad sides. there is many adventures, strong enemies, interesting world cultivation system. But there is also too many Coincidences: mc makes or gains something and soon when there is dangerous situation he will be able to survive only with help of this one. There is little bit romance, but not bothersome, it is rarely shown. It was also mentioned in comments that mc is good at everything, which is interesting sometimes, but also annoying. Despite all these reasons, I still read novel till latest chapter as I didn't have anything to read .

Novel sucks. The main issue I have with this is the author makes MC good at everything: blacksmith master - ✔ , knight commander - ✔ , wizard - ✔, alchemist- ✔, druid - ✔ , whatever you can think of- ✔, pulling miraculous out of his ass- ✔.

Yeah, it does get really, really ridiculous. Also the translation sucks. For a MC that puts his family first he sure likes to get into a lot trouble. This novel is like if u put all the isekai novels together and what comes out is a bunch of poop.
