3,0 to 3,2k chapters is the end of the first novel i would say. The ending is fine. The conclusion itself was good but i felt a lot of missing potential. The sequel(chapters after) is basically a different story(world) but it is much better so far. The cultivation system is also a bit better and it is same mc.

I would say it is an average novel but it has a lot of missing potential. The mc is decent but the lack of fine detail and rushed parts is a big negative for me.

There are no big no's for me but no standouts either. A 3/5 for me.

Everything is fine except that the author is an idiot. He uses time just like seeds. All these gigantic time intervals don't make any sense. An ordinary set of numbers.

Ппц. Эта Ху Ню… Нахер она вообще тут? Безумная ревность. Забирает всех женщин рядом с гг. какой тогда смысл? Я б на месте гг после ее спасения из арены тупо забил бы на нее и все. И вот это: Линг Хан принадлежит Ниу. По началу смешно было, но к 1216-1217 главе реально это выбешивает. И имя у нее тупое!

HONEST REVIEW

When I read it first a few(4-5) years ago i really felt it was a amazing novel but now i read it and I really feel that the so called Emperor Alchemist isn't good at anything at all -----
HE'S AN ALCHEMIST BUT WONT BECOME OP BY NERF OF NORTHERN REGION NOT HAVING INGREDIENTS,
he's dense, he's not that smart (as keeps alive barely everytime coz of black tower) , he can't even lay low and cultivate keeps leaving family behind and later has to come back and make an arc ..
Joins no sect for no reason -_- ....
Needs resources and backer but won't find... Has barely heaven tier experience still won't stfu and act his age keeps going into small business projects and fights with children who almost killed his family coz this guy is overly idiotic and won't directly use status

Super cliche, it may be good if you haven't read much novels else it's as cliche it gets. Also it's pretty much repeat of going to mystical realms or some sort of tournament/competition and hardly anything else. At least MC is likeable and side characters (some around the MC) is fun, enemies to MC is mostly annoying super arrogant people though. Also some weird homophobic stuff and such randomly pop up kinda early but disappear later in the novel (I guess you have to live with such things sometimes in Chinese novels...)

I won't say much, the usual cliched Chinese novel (face-slapping at every step), I read up to 630~ chapters and it's really very boring, in the end I started skipping chapters...

I find it funny when mc keeps bragging that he was a top tier powerhouse reincarnated through monologue but everytime he talks about his past he keeps admitting he's the weakest powerhouse, lowest status, and has a narrow view of the world. After he admits this he goes back to solve problems easily because of course hes a "top tier" powerhouse reincarnated. Lol alchemist arrogance is very apparent

This novel doesn't do anything new, but it does make the best out of old cliches. Read this if you wanna feel that nostalgia, when you first discovered chinese novels and an mc going around and face-slapping young masters left, right and center was considered the peak of fiction. This one is above average and is a lot less infuriating to read imo.

It starts out as usual: trash young master, engagement, cripple, reincarnation, godly inheritance, blah blah blah... but then it actually becomes pretty interesting after a few hundred chapters, the power of the nation being an intriguing quirk to the power system. At least until he ascends to the immortal realm. Then it becomes pretty average.

The biggest problem this novel has is the disgusting amount of racism, sexism and hypocrisy, which become more and more noticeable the further you read. Especially the sexism. But if you can bear with it and ignore it, this is a pretty enjoyable read, though not memorable. A nice way to pass the time.

Edit: I've read some more and it becomes really interesting again later on, and the negative aspects become a lot less noticeable and frequent.
